Licenses

Saas (Software as a service) or license purchase (in house SW)

How do I know which model is suitable for me?

Hiring the service is more versatile and clearly more economical for lower levels of users, avoiding initial investment and reducing the risk involved in introducing a new technology or tool. It is faster on updates (patches or new functionalities), (which allows a growth closer to the actual needs.)

Companies with a high turnover and planned ICT investments ( Slower decision making) and a sizeable information system infrastructure are likely to prefer the “in house” software model. This is a renewable investment over a period of 2 to 3 years, and, for large organizations is more economical in terms of direct cost (licenses).
